Sriroop is an associate professor of environmental studies and geospatial modeling at the Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities. He is also the co-Director to the Center for Environment, Sustainability and Human Development (CESH). Sriroop specializes on issues of water depletion/degradation and how in the wake of climate change natural resources scarcity may affect sustainable human development. Sriroop has over 12 years of teaching/research experience in different universities of India and US. He has over 20 publications in high impact factor journals. He has published extensively with leading dailies such as Deccan Herald, Hindustan Times, Statesman, Telegraph, Millennium Post, Wire etc. Sriroop teaches courses on food, water, climate, statistics and Geographic Information System (GIS).
